period. The clients long distance company was over
billing them, and in addition to obtaining refunds of

large hospital complex in Florida
realized major reductions and changes in their telecom
spend rates. A thorough technical review by GSI of over
1,000 special circuits and 2,000 phone lines revealed
that 31% of them were inactive or disconnected
while still being billed! The result was over $400,000
in credits and refunds from three different carriers.
In addition, federal and state sales taxes paid over the
last seven years on their telephone bills were recovered

realized savings of 38% after GSI completed a telephone
bill audit of 29 TV stations, 8 newspaper operations,
